Step 5 Instructions

5.1 — SW1 (Pole 1, throw A = PAR GND) → ground bus. Solder a short green wire from pin 1 to the ground bus on the nearest pot casing.
5.2 — SW2 (Pole 1, common) → neck pickup ground lead. Solder a purple wire (leave 20cm) — it joins the neck pickup ground at the cavity. This is the switched neck-ground.
5.3 — SW3 (Pole 1, throw B = SER BRG) → bridge hot tee. Solder from pin 3 and tee into the bridge pickup hot lead at Blend Gang B Lug 6 — pulling up stacks the coils in series.
5.4 — SW4 (Pole 2, throw A) → 6.8nF cap → ground bus. This is the parallel-mode Q-filter cap.
5.5 — SW5 (Pole 2, common) → Q pot wiper. Leave this lead — it gets soldered to the Q wiper in Step 6.3. For now it floats off the switch.
5.6 — SW6 (Pole 2, throw B) → 22nF cap → ground bus. This is the series-mode Q-filter cap.
⚡ Pole 1 reconfigures the coils (parallel ↔ series); Pole 2 swaps the Q cap to match (6.8nF ↔ 22nF). One pull does both.
