Pickup hot leads (leave 20cm)
Signal path (wipers → BLEND OUT → Volume)
Ground bus (faded context)
3.1 Gang A Lug 3 → solder short wire to ground bus (pot casing or bus wire)
3.2 Gang B Lug 4 → solder short wire to ground bus
3.3 Gang A Lug 1 ← pre-tin, leave 20cm lead for neck pickup hot — don't route yet
3.4 Gang B Lug 6 ← pre-tin, leave 20cm lead for bridge pickup hot — don't route yet
3.5 Gang A Lug 2 (wiper) → run wire toward the BLEND OUT junction
3.6 Gang B Lug 5 (wiper) → run wire toward the BLEND OUT junction
3.7 Both wipers tie at BLEND OUT → twist, solder, then run a single wire to Volume Lug 3 (IN)
✓ CHECK: A3 and B4 to ground bus = continuity. No signal wire touches ground. BLEND OUT is a clean solder joint with no cold joints or whiskers.
