Step 1 — Mount Pots on the Plate

CONTROL PLATE — WIRING SIDE (back view) NECK BRIDGE neck → bridge BLEND MN250K dual-gang 1 VOLUME CTS 250K push-pull DPDT 2 TONE CTS 250K audio 3 Finger-tight only. Orient all lugs facing the same direction (down, toward you).
1.1 Drop Blend pot into the neck-side hole. Thread the washer and nut. Finger-tight only — you will tighten after all pots are in.
1.2 Drop Volume pot into the center hole. Push-pull shaft should move freely. Washer and nut, finger-tight. Ensure the DPDT switch body clears the plate.
1.3 Drop Tone pot into the bridge-side hole. Washer and nut, finger-tight. All three pots should have lugs oriented the same way — facing down (toward you when wiring). Tighten all three nuts with a socket wrench once positioning is confirmed.
